I like the Mises definition of Socialism which rightly characterizes all managerial regimes as Socialist. As soon as you allow for planning, that is Socialism. Helps explain why supposed "free market" guy Milton Friedman developed income tax withholding. Because, as Mises astutely observed, he was a Socialist.

I of course agree. It is an affront to natural law. There is no greater threat to human civilization than the hubris of the managerial elite.
Managerialism is like Communism*- to survive more than one founding generation it has to make the managerial class rich.
