That might be the constructive effect of leadership values and priorities, but I doubt anyone implementing the policies and hiring the personnel think of it this way explicitly. DEI is a system that has been embedded by class enemies of ordinary Americans, and many people have fallen in on that system and are unaware of the effects. USAREC sees white male number go down and they think “oh no, that’s not good, perhaps we should target ads at that demographic.”
Lohmeier's book was an eye opener, confirming many suspicions. It is a shame (more accurately it is a crisis and threat to the nation's security) that this cultural contagion has infected the DoD to such a degree.
I hope and pray that intelligent and resilient warriors can reestablish these organizations before it is too late.
